9:15 – 10:05 AM Plenary Session – Diverted: One Life Saved

Join Maryland’s former Senior States Attorney Rich Brueckner for a personal account of alcoholism, addiction, and incarceration. Mr. Brueckner will discuss his personal diversion, where these experiences have led him, and how they impacted his work for the State of Maryland. If you’re wondering if diversion efforts are worth it – join us for a heartfelt tale and one example of why your work is so important!
