The Policy and Legislation Workgroup is tasked with tracking legislation and non-legislative rules that serve to promote the practice of prearrest diversion, as well as those that act as barriers to diversion. Members of this workgroup focus on all levels of government: local, state, tribal, and federal. This team also helps translate the efforts of the other PTACC workgroups into pragmatic policy solutions and enacted law.
